Back with a bang?

Hm....immmmmm back! Oh wait a minute...damn thats sooooo long to be back after my last post....haha. Guess i am pretty fed up writing something here or something else is more entertaining that's hitting the Malaysian news which has been keeping me reading instead of blogging. Seriously the Malaysian news that's circulating on the front page of the news paper and "off" the news paper have been pretty entertaining if u get what i mean. You know, i seriously dont feel like following those stories but i cant help it! It's sooooo funny that i had to know and tell the rest of my friends! Oh well...i dont have time to write them all here but dont worry if you're too lazy to back track and read those news again. I am very sure more of those "funny" stories will come again. That way you still wont get left behind with all the jokers making headlines. Sometimes i could just die laughing, now that's real comedic relief!

ANY HOW! Lets not get into funny stories now shall we? It's August and 4 more months we can say bye bye to 2010 and welcome 2011. Holy crap! 2010 is coming to an end? WTH have i been doing all this times? Well...1 thing is for sure i haven't changed much....i think...hahaha. 1 month back i went to bali and boy that place is like HEAVEN! May be it's because of the sea that got me attracted. Well thats holiday....now lets talk about my work. Work for me has been pretty DRY for the past few months. Dry means not much work. The amount of work i do in a week may be...2 hours? The rest of the 38 hours i spend time...surfing the net....chatting....day dreaming....doing my own networking studies. Yeah...yeah...you guys must be saying "oh...thats not too bad if ya still get paid". Well yes...i have to admit it's kinda nice to sit and get paid but there are still fears inside me. The company could just say to me "benny...we dont want to pay you to sit in our office for nothing...now here is your termination letter...good bye and good luck". Oh i'll be screwed of that happens BUT...unlikely. Look at the bright side...there are the PROs and CONs. Pros for me are doing my own studies for my networking career. I have been very rusty in some of the area and now is the time for me to brush up and get back on track for the CCIE exam which i am planning to take in...2-3 years time may be? The cons....well thats when i get thrown out of the building jobless suddenly. I am tempted to look for another job but i am not in a hurry. Probably just look see and apply the right one. If i get a call...oh well thats good news but if i dont...so be it. Working in the so called biggest mall in KL seems to be keeping me here. It's new to my house, i get to met lots of people, get to see lots of pretty ladies, food heaven, all sort of even we can see every week. I dont mind not moving for a while but sometimes we can never get enough of greed. When one offer comes knocking at my door...i'll have a look and may be consider.

Malaysia the country of DOOM

So, CNY 2010 has finally ended. Time to get my mind back on track and face what's coming during 2010 period. I had a splendid time for sure.

Last weekend i was with a few friends at mamak stall and he showed me this email form this HTC Hero handphone. When i read it, i was totally speechless and i thought of writing it down here and show you all. Now here is the email, please read carefully... (red letters are my comments)

Those years when the New Year drew near, all sorts of gathering appointments almost completely filled the diaries, but this year seems so quiet.
-when i was a kid around 5++ CNY was really happening as i have many cousin brother and sisters to play with but sadly those days are over

The person who wrote this has already expressed the things i want to say it all. I feel so sad when i read this article. Now here is another story i heard from my other friend

There is this Sultan's son in Malaysia (i dont know which Sultan) had a brain tumor and needed the best brain doctor to remove it or death awaits the Sultan's son. So this Sultan's son went and see a local doctor but too bad they don't have the doctor to do so they recommended them to England. They flew to England and saw the brain doctor and by surprise this doctor is a Malaysian. After consultation the Sultan flew his son to Australia this time to seek another doctor's opinion and it's another Malaysian there. After seeking consultation, the Sultan's son finally did his Brain tumor operation removal in Singapore.

So the conclusion from the story about is not about the Sultan's son survived or not (i don't know what happened to the Sultan's son and i don't care actually), all smart professional Malaysian (or ex-Malaysian) don't want to serve Malaysia. They rather work in a country is safer, balanced and of course that pays more than Malaysia. I am one of them trying to get out of the Malaysia very badly. Now here is the truth, i actually like Malaysia. Before i went to Australia for my studies i actually want to come back to Malaysia for good but that's past already. Malaysia actually has all the things i want like food, places, and the big land. Thanks to come of the ruler in Malaysia, they have made a mess out of it. I have no desire to hide anything here. I hate them and they are nothing but greedy big pigs awaiting to be fed by the hardworking workers (who actually really want Malaysia to improve and be better than our south neighbour) and do nothing to improve everyday! So in every workers mind will say this "why serve a country that don't appreciate what you're doing?". This is when other country take advantage of the professional workers in Malaysia and lure them to work for their country hoping they can improve their country economy by giving them equal benefits like the locals. This is when the greedy pig leaders start to complaint about the professional that has no faith to help the county to develop and blah blah blah. Hello! It's not that we professionals don't want to help Malaysia! It's YOU (the greedy pig leaders) that drive us away! They won't know how do we feel seriously because they will never been in our shoes.

I will not rest and will fight for my rights here as long i'm still breathing in Malaysia and when all hope is lost, that is when i'll move to another country for good (seeking for that now and it's on the way). Hello! I am working right now. Nothing to do and waiting time to past so i can have my CNY mood going! Cannot concentrate. I need some rest before a few months of no public holiday in Malaysia!

Nothing much is going on here. Basically just work, go home play game, play guitar, and hang out with friends. CNY coming i will have more time to hang out with my old friends. So the year of the tiger, i hope it will bring some good prospect to me. I was told the year of the tiger will not be a good year for those born in the yea 1983 (which is me). I thought the tiger and the pig was a secret friend why can't this year be good? Hm....this i have to see for myself as time goes by. Time to get my Mahjong table out and invite friends over to play! No i am not going to gamble. I am not good at gambling but just for fun ok la. Going to be boring here in KL as most of my friends have gone home town and i didn't take leave this CNY. I got nothing to do also even if i take leave, just sleep at home only. So might as well save my leave for other things like going on a holiday.

Here is a song of the day for my blog. It's Cranberries ZOMBIE! Boy i loooooove this song and it's even better on the acoustic version! Just listening to this song i'll get a lil high! I even plan to record my own version of acoustic guitar version during my CNY holidays.

So it's finally 2010. To me it's not a good thing at all. This means i will age 1 more year later this year. Crap...you guys know i don't like to age at all! Oh well...that's just a dream of mine...anyway what's new this year? Let me recall and see...

Ah...2010 started off with a BANG in Malaysia that's for sure. Last week 7 churches in Malaysia was put on fire on purpose by some unknown (suspect some muslim dude) person midnight when no one is watching. This cowardly act was done by them because the churches we're using the world "Allah" to preach. Using the world "Allah" pissed those some muslim off and they went berserk and did those cowardly acts on the 7 churches. Now this triggered a international attention around the world. News from Australia, US, Europe was spreading like wild fire because it's about Christianity using the word "Allah" which triggered the Muslim. If something we're involved Muslim and Christian you're sure to get attention from all over the world. So what's the burning Churches in Malaysia about? It's about the racist issue which can never be solved. The reason why the churches was burned down was because the muslim claimed that the word "Allah" was their word and can only be used by them. Well, the word "Allah" was used in churches because it also mean GOD. God = Allah = God. What's wrong using the word "Allah"? Churches in Indonesia also uses the word "Allah" sometimes and we don't see churches get burned or any issues there. So what's wrong with these idiotic muslims who came up with the idea to burn the churches? This has gone over the border. The Christian didn't misuse the word "Allah" and all they did was used "Allah" to educate people and this is what we get from Muslim? This sound like we're still living back in the stone age where muslim and Christian still fighting among them self. Come on, for heaven sick! We're living in the 21st century now and this small problem you want to create a big one? Now Malaysia is being watched by other country. To them it's like a comedy drama with new episode every week. It's so funny they some of my colleague who lived mainly in Australia said this to me "man, you got one fucked up country, but it's entertaining!".

Me as a Malaysia can just smile and say "i don't care anymore". The politics in Malaysia has been ridiculously stupid when you read on news paper and now this? Just great....thanks. Malaysia was once a county people predicted would develop strongly but we're not there yet. In fact we're not near it! Wawasan 2020 was Malaysia's 4th PM future to be fully developed. Now it's 2010 year and another 10 more years it's 2020. You guys know how fast 10 years is from now and what i see 2010? Nothing...seriously nothing. We're just a little better than Indonesia that's all. No where near the tiny Singapore (once a malaysia land) 2010. Wawasan 2020 my ASS!

1 Malaysia thing is another stupid term. It's the government idea to tell the world "We're all 1 Malaysian and everything is fair!!" but we're not actually. More like "1 Malaysia , 2 Standard". Why would you tell the world we're 1 Malaysia when it's all bumiputra who has the privileges only? Not forgetting that some bumiputras' are not muslim and why they get the privileges too? University scholars are given to bumi first on priority even if they have a lousy academic records where a EXCELLENT student don't even get to go local Uni. So what "1 Malaysia" thing is then? It's it useless? If you use the english word correctly, 1 means single and when you combine 1 with Malaysia you get "1 Malaysia". What i just wrote earlier, does it put the word "1 Malaysia" to good use? Better call it "0 Malaysia". That would fit Malaysia now. The rich will get richer and the poor will be poorer. That happened to Indonesia and sooner or later if we don't see any changes...we're gonna be the next Indonesia....sad isn't it? It's just a matter of time only when Malaysia will fall that deep.

Enough said. I have written this with total anger, We're just like sitting ducks. Awaiting the opportunity to fly out the cage or be push to the edge of the cliff and fall to our death. I am constantly hoping to get my Australia PR granted and i hope it's going to happen this year. I certainly hope so. Been waiting and waiting but i won't fall short of breath. Will do what it takes to get my ass there. Wish me luck on this one then.

Alright, enough it enough. Looks like i just kicked stat my new year with some pressure on me. What a great way to start...sheees. Now here is a picture and a song to end it all. I'm late again to blog here. We'll excuses from me again not to blog so often. I have been rather ....free and busy since i last blog here. Free is when i am rotting at home and too lazy to do anything. Busy is when i don't even have time to go home and play my PS3. So when is the best time for be to blog? It's for sure when i am working! I am working now. Why am i blogging now in the office? Well that's because i don't have any work now so this gives me excuses to blog now!

This month (November) celebrate my Taylor 414ce guitar 1st birthday! I remember i bought it on the 1st of November 08 at Singapore. Purposely drove down and spend SGD2800 and came back. It was all worth it i must say. My guitar still play and sound very well. Need more time to play it though as now i am kinda neglecting it.

Today is my last day being a probation at my new company. So after today i can apply leave which i am entitled to and i am going to use it for next month X'mas in Singapore! Yes...i am going back to Singapore next year to celebrate X'mas again. I know i have said i wont be going back to Singapore at least a few years since my last visit but i have a cruise vacation i need to board in Singapore. Yes you heard me right. I am going on a cruise baby! It's the Super Star Virgo by the Genting group. I have been waiting for years to board the cruise and now my change has finally come! 4d3n depart from Singapore to Penang to Phuket and back to Singapore again. After the cruise i will be in Singapore for 2 more days to met up with my friends and doing the countdown thing at orchard again. It's gonna be another great holiday!

Looking at the picture i posted here you guys know it's the 2010 countdown! 1 more month and we bid 2009 farewell. I need to recall what i have done for the past 11 months and hopefully i will get my last month for 2009 right! Time sure come and go with out you noticing eh? Damn it, i am getting old that's for sure. I have plans and that's to enjoy to the fullest with my friends! Now lets get the timer running and we approach a brand new 2010!

Mixed up October

It's October and by birthday month. I have been doing not much lately on October. Still undergoing with my training in the office, which is very boring, It gets really worst in the afternoon after lunch when you start to close your eyes and do the "snake" dance. I tried not to do the "snake" dance too often so i bought myself some 'asam' sweets to keep me awake. With the 'asam' melting in my mouth i am still doing the "snake" dance. You must be wondering why am i still doing the "snake" dance when i'm having sweets....that's because it's freaking boring! I can't help it!!! Well...least now i am getting used to the training and not falling a sleep too soon.

I celebrated my 26th birthday with a few of my friends in zouk - velvet in KL. Not happy to age but i am happy that i'm still breathing still. Got a few gifts from my friends and of course the most special one was from my special one :D. That really made by day! I'm getting old, need to keep myself as healthy as possible. You know problems comes when you hit 30s so gotta stay healthy soon rather than later.

Now news on my Australian PR. Exactly a year ago i paid money for the final step to get the Australian PR and this month mark 1 year of my submission. There is 1 slight problem, i don't have any updates yet since the day i paid 1 year ago! I emailed by agent who is helping me with my submission and she said that all those who apply not job on demand list will not be processed until further notice. This came from the Australian immigration people due to the recent economy problem that hit the whole world last year. Now that's problem no 1. I actually have another way that i can get my application processes 1st by applying the job on demand list category . i need to have

4 years of working experience
applying under a security network person

I have met the 1st point but the 2nd point have a little bit of problem. I need to prove to the Australian immigration that i am working as a security person and i will need to get a job of descriptions from my old company that i have worked with. All have given their letter except for EDS. They said it's against their policy to write or give verbal words anything that i need form them. I was like WTF is this? I am not asking them to write a fake letter about my job descriptions but they still refuse to write me the letter! I even asked my boss to sign for me but still he need to get back to HR to ask permission and HR gave the same stupid answer! I emailed the HR asking them why and they said they must comply with their policy and bla bla bla. One thing i dint understand is that why can't they write me the letter? I am not asking them to fake a letter but still they refuse! A bunch of cowards! To be honest i am kinda lost here but i'll find my own way. I will not let this small problem get in my way. No matter what i will do what it takes to get the Australian PR. I have gone too far to give up now. I have dreams to achieve and i will not let it slip away from my hand.

Selamat Hari Raya!

It's Hari Raya today for all Muslim celebrating around the world and public holiday in Malaysia! I don't have any plans for the raya holidays so i'll take this opportunity to chill out with my friends and catching out with them.

This month i have started my new job and so far so good i must say. I have been doing training for the past 2 weeks and it will go on longer for another 2 more weeks at least! Training has always been a pain in the ass because it's soooo boring! I would prefer on job live training because i think its the most effective way to learn faster. Can't do anything though and must go though the "sleepy" training. Oh yeah....my new work place is a very cool place to work! You know why? Here are the reasons:

Q: When I'm bored with my work what i'll do? A: Go mid valley and walk around to burn some time.
Q: Will i get bored with the food there? A: No because there are soooo many food stalls around from cheap to expensive foods (Unlike cyberjaya :P).
Q: What will i do after work? A: Either go back home or go to the near by pub for my favorite drink called "Strongbow".
Q: How far is my home to mid valley? A: 7km from my house to Mid valley compared to 27K from my house to cyberjaya
Q: What i want to add some more? A: It's nearer and there is a lil traffic going to work but that's just a small problem though

Now i just hope that i can work there happily until i can get my PR to move to Australia 1 day in the future. If you ever by pass mid valley during the weekdays call me ok...lets have lunch together.

Today i made a small mistake. It's nothing serious but it's my fault for letting it happen and i got a good lecturing. Come to think of it i didn't mean to do it on purpose but still it's my fault and i'll take all the responsibility. But i take this as a lesson. A lesson that i will learn and never repeat the same mistake again. With this i shall carry on it with me and take it it bear more fruits.

You know, a lot of my friends are either on holiday or went back home town. I am not worried not going on a holiday this long weekend because i have a new vacation to go end of the year! Will spend 1 week in singapore before the Xmas period and go on a cruise! I finally will get to broad the cruise after so long i have waited. Can't wait for that day to come!

Good by EDS. Hello new job!

Alright, it's Saturday and it's da weekend ! Oh boy i have waited for this week for very long already. I needed a break from work and i have 1 week off! Yesterday was my last day in office. I have been serving EDS for 2 years and 10 months. I have no intention to leave EDS in the 1st place but thanks to HP who bought EDS, it has been nothing but bad news. HP freezes our salary increment, take away out activities like treasure hunt, cut our benefits and making us to buy HP procurve devices! Wth man, i have been studying CISCO to master them and before i can master them they force us to use their networking devices. It's not that their devices is that bad but i rather concentrate on CISCO. I don't want to start to learn something that is not so recognized like CISCO. It just demotivates us. Another reason why i want to leave is because of a person named "toyo". Man this "toyo" is so dumb that he seriously don't deserve to be there now. He just piss me off. I have even sold the crap out of this fella and told him this straight in his face "Don't cross my border anymore". You guys must be wondering now that i am insane and dare to scold the crap out of this "toyo" but i actually have nothing to fear because i know i didn't do anything wrong. When i know i am not at wrong and someone step on my tail, i will surely stand up and defend myself.

Let's not talk about this "toyo", just wasting my time only. Well....i must say thanks to EDS because they gave me an opportunity to shine. If i join EDS in the beginning i think i would still be lost. They made me to what i am now so that is why i have these skills. I learned a lot during my stay here with eds and made many friends. Thanks EDS (not HP) for everything. I will never forget the opportunity/change given to me and will make good use of it.

Moving on to a new job

I'm so bored in the office that i decided to blog something here. Well it's Monday after all. I am trying very hard to tell myself "It's a brand new week to look forward too!" which isn't kind of helping at the moment. Speaking of work, i actually found a new job here in KL. So after 2 years and 10 months with EDS, i am going to move on to another company in KL. Throughout my 4 years working career, i have not stepped out of Selangor for work and this time I'm migrating to KL. My new work place will be at Garden's north tower in Mid Valley. Yeah....mid valley the big shopping mall with lousy road management that's very congested all the time. This time it's nearer to my home but there will be a little road congestion when i travel to work but that's only very minor. I actually didn't have any intention to leave EDS but since they other company can offer me better package might as well i give it a shot. After all i need a new environment already. I will start work at my new place on the 1st of September and now I'm just waiting for my HR to let me know when is my last date of work. Mid valley will be a more happening place as it's in the mall and I'm sure there will be lots of pretty ladies for me to "wash" my eyes when i need come motivations to work there, LOL. The new company is an Australian company and the HQ is based in Brisbane! That's the place where i studied an where i want to migrate later. What are the odd eh? Well...may be i can look forward to work with them and 1 day i might get my transfer to Brisbane! Let's see how it goes.

Last weekend Saturday me and my friends went up to awana genting for a trip. There we're 10 people and we decided to have steamboat there. I was the main organizer and the main chef for that weekend. Basically i prepared everything from scratch in Awana. We had a good time eating and we went up to genting for a while to gamble. I won RM102.50 and ran far far away after that. At night we went back to Awana and had our drinking session. We played the mixing drink game and we had 2 tequila and 1 JD whisky along with some imported soft drinks from Australia. That was one crazy night as 1 of my good friend got so drunk that he started to impersonate MJ, Joker from batman, Leonidas from the 300 movie and Jon Bon Jovi. We even made so much noise in the middle of the night that the management had to come to our room to shut us up. One hell of a night i gotta say. I'm sure there will be more this kind of nights in the future

It's August already. 4 more months and we will bid 2009 farewell. Time sure flies eh. What i want to do now is to create more happy memories in Malaysia and hopefully everything will go smoothly. Ok...i guess that's all i gotta say for today. I'm just waiting to go off work and rest at home. Not sure why but every time i get back home i'll be very tired. Guess I'm getting closer to becoming an old man...oh shiet! I'll think of something to write for the next blog entry...hopefully something interesting. RIP Granma...

2 days ago i received a call from my sis at work. She told me grandma passed away. I was shocked and thought it was a joke but too bad it wasn't. My grandma lived until the age of 100 and saw 5 generation. I am the 3rd generation (grandchildren) of hers. Now that's one hell of a long life. She has seen it all and i guess it's about time she goes on to the other world. My grandma really loved her grandchildren. I remember last time my mom would bring her back to my home and she would peel the ikan bilis just for me because she knows i like ikan bilis. After about 1 week of stay she would go back to her home at Labu, Seremban and before she goes back she would give me some money to spend. I normally would not accept the money but she would say "i am old and i have no good use of these money, take it and buy something to eat". I would smile and accept it just to make her happy, I will then tell my mom that grandma gave me money and she will scold me for taking her money but i told her "i am doing this just to make grandma happy". Even during my days of studying in Australia, grandma would ask my mom "where is ah ming(she call's me ah ming)? is ah ming back from Australia already?". Those we're the days. Now grandma has gone to another world where she will have peace. The burial will be tmr morning and i will be there to send grandma off to her final journey.

And so...this month has been a very busy month for me like i told you on the previous post BUT there was a new beginning for me. Something i look forward to and putting all my effort to make it meaning full.

As for work, i have been busy most of the time in office. Having late meeting with the US people suck. Our time about 7pm and 10pm. Well, i can't do much about this because we have to find a time to talk about our projects. As long they don't make it after 10pm, i'm alright.

Very busy July

I am in the office now. Yes...you must be asking me why am i blogging in the office now. Well it's because i have some times to spare and i haven't been updating here for a while so let me say something here.

And so, my holiday has past and now i am going my routing job which is working. Since i'm back from the island adventure, i was really busy running around here and there. It has nothing to do with work but i have been trying to catch up with my friends or should i say friends have been trying to catch up with me. Almost everyday i at night i am not at home which leads to me not playing guitar that often. I spend a lot of time on my guitar normally but i felt that i didn't had enough time for it. May be because that time my webcam can't working with windows 7 so i can't do any recording which leads me not to play much guitar. Now i have bought a new webcam which is better than the previous one and may be i can start to motivate myself playing guitar again. Don't worry, i wont quit guitar completely. Guitar is my life and the time i will stop playing guitar is when my hands can't play it anymore.

I saw transformer 2 a week plus ago with 16 friends at GSC MV. Yes...it was a big group because this was a must watch movie! The 1st week of screening was really crazy. Everyone was trying to get tickets for transformer 2 which resulted GSC website exploded. Yes...the traffic was soooo massive that they had to strip down the website to a really simply website so people can go in and buy tickets online. Lucky my friend bought the ticket 6 days before the date we wanted to watch. To me the movie was really awesome. I must say better than the 1st one but there was still room for improvement. I am going to watch 2nd time with my buddies when it's not so crowded later.

Well...this month isn't about me being tired and busy but also a sad month too. Michael Jackson, the king of pop is dead. It was really sudden for the whole world to accept because he died from a cardiac arrest. I felt that it was very great lost to the world. I am no big fan of Michael Jackson but he was the man who changed the world. He showed the world how someone should dance with passion, how to sing and love the world. If it wasn't for Michael, the dance moves now won't be that hot. I love his songs and i must say his song will be heard forever. I remembered last time me and my friends sang his song and a good ol buddie of mine drew a comic of Dragon Ball Z where Michael Jackson came and saved Son Gokou. LOL, now that's something you don't get to see all the time. Thank you Michael for everything, the world is going to miss you. May you rest in peace...

I think i stop here. Let me pay some respect to the late king of pop with one of his song. It's from the Jackson 5 where he made is debut with "I'll be there". A very nice song. Alright, till i see you here again, later~

Mid year vacation over, back to reality

Yeap, my island adventure part 4 has come to an end. Time for me get recover and get back to reality. I had a very wonderful island adventure with my other 8 friends. To honest it was fun but not as fun as last year's one. May be it's because of the accommodation and facilities that was provided. I find that the room was the only good thing here. The rest like food, beach boy friendliness and the activities provided still lose to cheaper resorts and chalets in perhentian lsland. I stayed at Bubu long beach resort btw. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go bubu long beach for the price. Cheaper resort can do better than Bubu long. Why do i know? Because i have been to perhentian island 3 times in a row and i have stayed at Perhentian Island Resort (2007) and Cocohut chalet (2008) and there are a lil cheaper than bubu long but in term of activities , facilities and food provided still lose to both ot them. I highly recommend cocohut and it was the best one i every stayed. Food is freaking nice, beach boys are fun when you go snorkeling, room is very comfortable and friendly staff there. So planning to go perhentian trip ya guys can consult me...hehe.

Anyway...now let me get in detailed to my holiday here. We had fun that was for sure because this time we had a underwater camera! Well...it's not really a underwater camera but it's a normal digital camera and we got a cheap underwater casing that will work no more than 10 feet underwater. Seems fair enough for me because we're just snorkeling and wont be diving too deep after all. Here is a shot underwater.
We used bread to lure the fish to us so we can get a up close shot here.
Here is a shot of me in the water. If you noticed i wasn't wearing any life jacket while swimming, that's because i wanted to have the freedom to swim at the open ocean. I want to give in the ocean to see the corals and fishes nearer. Don't worry, i can swim pretty well i think...LOL. But a piece of advice here, if ever you plan to go and swim in the open ocean and even if you know how to swim but you're not confident with the open ocean, please put on the life jacket. I have seen amatures swimmers struggle to keep them self a float because of the underwater current.
Here is an example how someone should put on a life jacket...hehe

So basically what we do there for 3d2n was just eat, swim, and play and eat again. Same routine. We spent a lot of time in the water thought.
Here is a poser pic of me and kevin for you to see. Trying to be like ultraman i guess...lol. We saw sea turtle too and i manage to swim along with the turtle and took a few pics. Here is one. It's damn big i tell you! i think this turtle has been around here for almost 100 year.
Now we paid another extra snorkeling trip and we went to the light house....boy i tell you the corals underneath the light house was sooooooo nice! I mean what you see outside the resort most of them are dead thanks to the the amount of people swimming around that area. If you ever go to Perhentian island, the light house is a MUST go place for snorkeling. Trust me you wont regret. We then docked at the light house and the boat man went up the light house and jump down into the deep ocean! Wow now that was freaking fun and i wanted to do it too!
Here you can see me i have climbed up the light house and about to jump into the ocean! It's about 2 story tall into the ocean.
You can see here the beach boy just jumped into the water! Freaking awesome! To honest here i was kinda afraid when i got up the light house....it looked pretty high but i was determined to do it! Every time i wanted to jump, my leg just couldn't let go of the ledge. Kevin pushed me into the ocean once but i wasn't satisfied because i want to jump the light house ledge on my own so i climbed back up for 2nd attempt.
It took me around 10 mins standing at the ledge before i jump into the ocean! Everyone was waiting for me to jump and now i am being teased by them.
Now that's me in the water already...couldn't manage to take the shot of me jumping into the ocean in time.

It was one hell of an experience and i will do it again if i get the chance. Well, after that we got back to our resort, took a nice hot shower and ate dinner. At night we had a secret operation for a good friend of mine. He was going to propose to his gf to marry him and we make him a treasure chest and guess what...the operation was successful! I am so happy for my friend here. This friend of mine better belanja is BIG BIG because we did played a big part in planning ...hehehe.

Now i am back in KL with sun burnt mark on my back. It was really red and painful yesterday but now not so painful. Now my skins is turning darker and it's starting to itch. It's a sign of the skin is stating to peel. Well...i have been to island adventure 4 years in a row and guess what 4/4 times i got sun burnt! Oh yeah! I am so used to the feeling already which i literally don't care. I did put sun lotion on but still i always kena. Don't know why but well...as long i had fun...it's ok to get sun burn once a year...HEHE.

Time for a break

I took my CCIE written exam last monday and i pass with flying color (thanks to p4s) and now i have renewed my CCNP and now i need to prepare for the ultimate challenge which is the super lab! I have 1 and half years to prepare for my lab so i some how gotta find motivation do study. For the past 2 week i haven't been playing my guitar a lot. May be just 10-30 mins a day max if i have time but now im back to being a full time guitarist at home! So glad i can fully concentrate on my guitar and trying to improve myself at the same time.

Pretty much i'm all beat up. Alright, it's time for me to take my 1/2 year break for 2009.This sunday i'll be taking a plane to KB, then a 40 mins car ride to Kuala Besut, then another 20-30 mins boat ride to Perhentian Island! Boy i can't wait!!!! I can hear the waves washing up the shores now. This is what im picturing in my head now below:
This will be my 4th island adventure in a row and my 1st holiday of 2009. Going to take my guitar there to and have a beach street performance. Let's see if my skills have improved to draw a lil crowd. There will be 8 of us going and we plan to go on a fishing trip. I have been looking forward to this trip for a long time and it's gonna come very soon! Oh boy oh boy i better get my stuff ready.

Well....that island adventure will be my mid year holiday and end of the year i have another holiday to look forward too and it's Krabi in Thailand! I have never been to Thailand before. Do you know that all staff are required to take 2 weeks force leave off during december. 2 weeks is hell of a long time and i don't plan to sit at home and rot. So i was thinking something fancy and may be Thailand. Was talking about it with with my ex-colleague and she too agreed to go Thailand. So i suggested Krabi and we went and looked for another 2 person and guess what...with in 24 hours after discussion and we have booked AA direct flight from LCCT to Krabi for only RM211 with return! I must say this is the fastest planned holiday in history! It's like "i on. you on. they on. air ticket cheap buy now." and the next second it's "Krabi here we come!" we shouted. There will be 4 of us and we'll be ther for 4d3n. We haven't look for accommodation yet as we still have time to plan. I have never stepped out of Malaysia since im back from aussie back in 2005. Okie, may be Singapore but that's too normal to me. Now Thailand, that's something new for me.

Ho ho ho...i soooo cant wait for my holidays! In fact i have other group of friends also suggested Bali this year. I don't mind going there but it seems there isn't any cheap air tix for now. We'll wait and see if we will come across any cheap tix.

Okidoki, i guess that's all i want to say here. Let me see if i have time put in one more entry before my Perhentian trip. Before i sign off, now here is another song for you to enjoy. Time to put my guitar a side and get serious

Alright, i have an announcement to make here. I will be quitting my guitar until 15th June. I know, i know, you guys must be saying "what!?" or "you must be joking right Benny?". Well, im not joking here. Something that i play in front of my pc everyday i will put a totally stop on it! Okie, may be not total stop la but when i think i need a break, then i'll pop my guitar out and play for a while. The reason to this is because i will be doing my CCIE written exam on the 15th June i don't plan to screw this up. It's the highest certification in Cisco certification and not easy at all! I need all the time available to study and score here. This means no more going out with friends until dawn. So wish me luck here!

Today, i looked up the sky and saw the moon shining so brightly up the sky and it's a full moon. I stared at it for a while and smiled, thinking about something i wrote to someone about the moon shining so bright during the night. If i can remember clearly, i wrote this:

Everybody want to be the sun to shine on you but i rather be the moon, so i can shine upon you during your darkest night when you need light

I don't think that's the exact words i said but something close to that. Can't believe i actually thought that up...lol. I took the picture of the moon today.

I know the bright round thing don't look like a moon that's because i was using my phone camera. You know phone camera are not meant to treated like a digital camera especially if it's a Nokia.

Oh shiet, it's 3:37am now. I think i better go. But before i go, i got something to say here. You all noticed i added a new music player on my blog here. Now for every new post here, i shall add in the song i'm listening at the moment. So for today's post, it's a classic song back in the 90s during my secondary school time called 'Greenday - Good Riddance(Time of your life)'. It's lyrics if the song is very meaningful so that is why i like this song. I can play this whole song on my guitar too and i'm planing to record it and upload on youtube one fine day.

I don't think i will be adding any new post until 15th June. So hopefully the next post, it will be good news about my CCIE exam. Until next time, take care, and later~

Today mark a very special date for me. Exactly 1 year ago on 31st May 2008, a good friend of mine came back from Australia and we went to Perhentian Besar Island on that date upon her request. There was 4 of us, her younger brother, her best friend and ME of course! We took a bus to Kuala Besut from Putra bus station beside PWTC. It was a midnight bus and i remembered i didn't sleep at all during the whole journey. It's not that i don't want to sleep but i just can't sleep when something is moving like in the bus or plane. We reached Kuala Besut jetty around 5am++ and we ate breakfast at a Chinese shop. After breakfast all of us have to wait for our resort office to open around 8am++ so we all hang out at the jetty area. I was kinda tired and the rest of them slept at the jetty waiting area. Since the 3 of them slept, i took the courtesy to look after the belongings and them of course. I even took some shots of them sleeping :P .

When the resort office opened, we all went in and register our self and they all slept again at the office. This time there is a nice sofa for them. Again i took pics of them sleeping but this time asked the office girl to help me take while i pose in front of them. I remembered i got scolding from them for taking the pics while they're sleeping.

Anyway, we only took off to the island around 10am++ and i was still very awake considering i was wake since yesterday 7am! When we reached the island, checked in, change to our swim attire and ate lunch. All of us was so pumped up to go snorkeling. The snorkeling trip was so damn fun and our last stop was at a natural mini cold water fall. I remember my friends took the cold water and splashed at me.

And so, after the snorkeling trip, we went back to our room, took shower and ate dinner. Honestly the dinner was seriously good as they serve kampung style food. At night we just hang out by the beach and i took out my guitar started to perform...hehe. A staff from the resort came to us and started to ask what song i play. Well, i played any song that came to my mind at that time. That night we didn't last long as we're dead tired from all the travelling we did from KL. I crashed around 11pm++ after almost 48 hours awake!

DAY 2, rise and shine. I had a good night sleep and now im all geared up for another new adventure! Morning we had breakfast and getting ready for round 2 of snorkeling. Guess what...the whole boat was just 4 of us and another 2 guest. We made friend with the 2 guest who happens to be Malaysian also. 2 hours ++ later we headed back and no more snorkeling trip for us outside of the island. We ate lunch and went on a banana boat with our 2 new friends. We only fell off the banana once but it was a BIG one. When all of us hit the water, i collided with my friend's younger brother head to head and my friend feet hit my head! BUMP! I blacked out for 1 second and regain consciousness and was seeing stars already(yes, seeing stars was real). All of us was in the water and we hug each other so the water current won't push us too far away.

Then it was dinner time and we had dinner with the 2 new friends we just made. We talked a lot and after dinner i took out my booze and asked them to drink with us too. I took my all time favorite Solo softdrink from aussie as the mixer. Everyone said it tasted better than coke as the mixer. I exchanged my name card with the 2 new friends so we will still keep in touch even after our trip. It was fun drinking with them, chatting and laughing! The ladies didn't really drink a lot and i didn't want to take back my booze so i drank most of it and was a lil high but still can walk. We did a night walk around the beach, took photos, and when we stopped at the jetty, things got worst for me. Suddenly felt i cannot walk and need to sit down. I puked a lil and crashed. I was still conscious but i sat with them looking at the ocean.

Once everyone is done talking by the jetty, we headed back to our rooms. I was walking kinda wobbly already and my friends best friend hold on to me so that i don't drop and sleep on the sad. I remembered that i even remember to walk back to the dinning area, pick up my guitar and go back to the room and sleep. That conclude my trip and we headed back to KL by bus on the 2nd June 2008.

Have i told you i will be going for another Island adventure trip next month? It will be 21st June - 23rd June and this time it's Perhentian Kecil Island. Can't wait for that trip! This time i will be going with 8 person and this time they are all my childhood friends. staying near by my house. Gonna bring my guitar and my best friend will be bringing it too. This will be my 4th island adventure in a row. I have listed them down here with pics and year:

BaRNeY the Skeleton

For the past weeks, i have received numerous complaints about my weight! Most of my female friends (which i have not seen them for like may be no more than a month) told me this "eh benny, are you eating? how come you looked more skinny already?" or "how come you're so thin already benny? how you do it ar?". I have heard that from so many people for the past 1 month! OH SHIET! Im DOOMED!

It's not that i don't want to put on weight, i just cant put on weight so easily! I pull iron at home everyday, eat daily and when i go eat outside i sure whack kao kao the food. My makan friends knows that i can eat a lot. Still, i am getting thinner day by day. Some told me "Benny, you will be fat only when you get married and have kids". Okie, now that may be true but as far for my concerned, i have to do something about my weight. You know any books like "Gain weight for dummies" or "Gain weight in 24 hours"? If you know just anything, just hit me with anything. May be you want to help me out by buying me lunch or dinner and feed me like a pig, i'll be glad to tag along with no questions asked!

Who is kind enough buy me meals i will gladly accept. My weight is in your hands, so HELP me! Anyway, stopping here for now. Hope i can gain more weight in no time, hehe...till then, ADIOS~

Good ol feelings with good ol friends

14/05/09, thats today's date im blogging. Gonna be 12am soon but i feel like writing something here. Last Saturday me, C, A, J, and K went up to Genting for a guys night out. We didn't invite the gals up because it's called "Guys night out" where only guys hang out and do crazy stuff. We brought our own Scotch Whisky up and we're planning to drink out door! Before i go in detailed to the drinking part, let me tell how wow did our journey went

All of us sat in my car and i drove up the hill after breakfast in KL. We reached there around 11am and that time the room wasn't ready for us yet so we ended in the casino watching people gamble. We din really do much during the afternoon and evening. Just walk around and waste time. We even took an afternoon nap in the room. At night we went out and look for dinner and ended up in this hong kong style restaurant called 'Causeway something" which i forgot. the name. God damn it the price on the menu was crazy! Super expensive! We wanted to walked out but since we're seated de, might as well just order something to eat la. All of us ordered Chinese tea and guess what, i finished my drink de and called the waited to refill the water. The waiter told me "add water need to add 0.50 cents. want?". I was stunned that they waiter asked for 50 cents from me just to add hot water! OMG! Crazy...but just to give face, i said yes. I told the rest of my friends not to add water and better go casino and enjoy hot chocolate for free.

Dinner was ok only and we went in to casino to try our luck. Too bad i lost and so did J. The only person who won was A and his wining was RM25 only. LOL, he decided to buy us lunch next day. We finished our gambling session around 11pm and went off for our booze session! We went up the room got out drinking stuff, took the lift down and exit the resort hotel. Beside resort hotel got this small japanese park, that's our camping place. We wasted no time and started drinking the booze. I said this when i took the the 1st sip "AHHHHHH, this is good SHIT!". Drinking session was held outdoor and it was very cooling. To me it was very nice feeling but A cannot take the outdoor drinking. He was shivering and we needed to buy him a cup of hot tea from coffee bean to cool down. A vomited and we asked K to take A into the hotel to sit down where its not cold.

During the drinking session K just drank a sip and he said he was drunk. We was like WTF!? Is K a big wuss? I scold the hell out of him that don't fake drunk but K kept saying he was drunk. Me, C and J couldn't care less and we continued drinking until K took A to the room to rest. A is no ta good drinking and i know it. So we can forgive A. So left me, C, and J finishing up the last few shots of whisky. That time all us was kinda high already and talking nonsense. I remember C even took a video of us, interviewing us. I was cursing like body business and so was J. After we finished the drinks, we still can clean up the place and go back to the room.

Now the real fun starts here. When we got back to the room most of us was kinda high except K who was faking drunk. We tried to play the board game RISK but it ended up in a disaster. I was trying to place my troops on the board and simply screaming and cursing at the game. Suddenly A got angry and threw the broad away...LOL. Then we all started to really talk nonsense, over turn the tables. C saw some bikers outside the window and threw a bottle a them and we all laughed sooooo loud! Out of no where A took his favorite board game and wanted to threw it out the window too. All of us was shouting "oi A what u doing!?" and stopped him from throwing it out the window. Then A tried to lift the TV and threw it out the window too and again stopped by us. C was busy capturing video of us doing the chaos in the room. J also had his moment. I was really sober that time and told J "lets go casino now". J said this "Ok....i am going to win back my RM400k!". We all heard that and said "J, where u find RM400k wo?"...LOL. That moment was recorded on the video too.

Seriously it was a very crazy and fun night. We all seriously went back to out youth again and start doing prank like what we do best in primary school. C even walked out our room, go to the next door room and press the door bell. HOLY SHIT! That time was like 3am++ and when he ran back into our room, we all laughed sooo loud. I was so afraid that the management will come and look for us to complaint but lucky that didn't happened.

We had fun that night except that that idiot K who tried to fake drunk and run away. Even a lady could do better than K. Well....C took all the pics and video but i don't have them yet with me so i cannot show you what exactly happen. One thing for sure is we have to filter alot of pics because most of the shots take was crazy sober shots if u know what i mean.

It was a successful 1 and we will make another trip next month and this time we're bringing the ladies up. We have 2 free room that we can use. It's late de, i think i need to crash. Will try and write again soon. Will show you the genting pics when i have them. Until next time, adios~

May, please be different than April

April came, April gone and now it's May. OH CRAP! We have gone through 1/3 of 2009! You know, i am very glad that April has past. I had the toughest luck in April. The shit just keeps coming and coming every week nonstop. Trust me my friend, you won't want to be in my shoes last month. Imagine this, it's like you're walking on this long straight road. Walking half way someone took a piece of crap threw it at you and flee away. You're standing there stunned for what just happened and said "What the f*ck was that?". So, you clean yourself up and start your journey down the road again and again someone threw crap at you again. All i want to say here is what i did to deserve all this crap? But all things happen for a reason that's for sure. I will talk about "things happen for a reason" on my next post here.

So, May is here and I'm hoping i will have better luck this month. I think my luck is coming back to me because on the 1st of May, i thought my phone died. I was pretty much devastated to see my 3 months old phone just couldn't turn on in the Morning. Just when i thought I'll have the same crap from April, i was told my forumers to charge the phone longer because the phone may be drained out all the batt dry. So i did and guess what, it's ALIVE! I was pretty much relieved that my phone won't end up in the workshop. I guess my luck for May is turning to the better? This i gotta wait and see.

Yesterday i went to MV to watch a Chinese movie called "Sniper" with my friends. After the movie i decided to go into the Nike shop to see if they have the sneaker i want. I found 1 that i really like and bought it! Here is the picture of it below:

Ah, another white sneaker for me. This is my 2nd pair sneaker after my Adidas superstar sneaker i have been wearing for years. This sneaker cost me RM189. The a little bit of orange color really make it more "alive" i can say. So now i have 2 pair of sneakers to decide which to wear when i go out. Hehehe. Oh ya, my parents just came back from Aussie last Thursday and look at what they got for me!
Yum yum! My all time favorite Smith potato chips from Aussie and soft drink that taste better than coke! Not forgetting it goes very well with liquor you know?

Next week Sat i will be heading up to Genting for 1 night with my primary school friends. Gonna bring my smith potato chip there for supper and i'll save the soft drink for next month perhentian island adventure trip with Blue Label to go with. Sharing is caring, hehehe. Can't wait!!!!

Ol season just past and a brand new exciting season opens for me

And so, yesterday's season has gone into the history books and a brand new season opens for me. What does this mean? It means HISTORY will be made in the future and written down when this season ends.

I had my surgery last Monday and it was a successful one. The doc gave me 1 week of hospitalization leaves for me to recover. So far so good, as my would is healing up and i should be able to go back to work this coming Tuesday. Sometimes staying at home being a patient is not a fun thing to do. My parents are not at home, bro and sis in law gone to work so just left me stranded at home. I want to play game but don't have any nice ones. Movie? Nah, I'm not a DVD freak. Just sitting at home disturbing my friends working on MSN and playing guitar most of the time. Speaking of guitar, i had my guitar photo shoot last Saturday at Pudu, KL. Man, being a model isn't an easy job at all. I thought it was something like just stand and pose but NO! Hell no, and especially when you're standing under the hot bright sun. OMG, i was sweating so much that day. You know, 1 of my photographer dropped my guitar on the floor while shooting. Yes, it's the guitar that i went to Singapore purposely to buy. When i saw that happened my heart dropped! That guitar ain't any regular guitar you see by the shops my friend! I rushed to the accident scene and have a look at the damage on my guitar. Lucky me, it's just some minor scratches around the of the guitar which no naked eyes will be able to see but you can feel it when you touch it. I was sad, seriously sad when i saw my guitar had scratches. I cannot blame the person who dropped it because it's not his intention. May be it's my fault for not locking the guitar hard case bag in the beginning. I am going to take the guitar to the guitar hospital at KL when the guitar doc is around KL. I hope the guitar doc can do something to remove the minor scratches. Damn, it still hurts deep inside me but there is nothing i can do but just hope for the best for my precious Taylor guitar.

Okidoki, gonna stop here. Hopefully this season will bear more fruits than last season and to make this happen i need YOU to help me. Now let the new season begins!
